It supports children in asking fundamental questions about meaning, origin, responsibility, and coexistence, and in developing their own answers. In doing so, the children are strengthened in their personality and encouraged to act respectfully and responsibly.  <\/p><p>Religious education at our school is taught <b>denominationally cooperative (Protestant and Catholic)<\/b> and is based on the <b>subject requirements of the state of Schleswig-Holstein<\/b>. The children:<\/span><\/p><ul><li class=\"p1\">tell and design biblical stories<\/li><li class=\"p1\">deal creatively with religious themes<\/li><li class=\"p1\">philosophize and theologize about life questions<\/li><li class=\"p1\">bring in their own experiences, thoughts and feelings<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"p1\">Media, pictures, symbols, role plays and creative forms of work are also used.<\/p><h2 class=\"p1\">Competencies in religious education<\/h2><p class=\"p1\">In particular, the following are promoted:<\/p><ul><li><p class=\"p1\">Perceiving, interpreting and judging in religious and ethical questions<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"p1\">respectful communication and dialogue skills<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"p1\">Empathy, tolerance and sense of responsibility<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"p1\">Ability to develop and reflect on own points of view<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h2><b>Performance evaluation and differentiation<\/b><\/h2><p class=\"p1\">The performance evaluation takes place primarily through <span class=\"s1\"><b>oral contributions<\/b><\/span>, creative designs, documentations and reflective discussions. Different learning conditions are taken into account through a variety of methods and approaches. <\/p><h2><b>Aim of religious education<\/b><\/h2><p class=\"p1\">The aim is that the students <span class=\"s1\"><b>gain orientation for their lives<\/b><\/span>, reflect on religious and ethical questions and learn to deal <span class=\"s1\"><b>appreciatively, tolerantly and
